“I care about patients like I want my family to be cared for. I love doing little things for them, finding out their favorite activities. I had one patient who loved having her nails painted, and I would do that for her every time we visited.”
Misty Dalton started at Alive 6 years ago as an aide providing care in patients’ homes. Today, she is the team coordinator at our Murfreesboro residence.
“Hospice care just gives you a better quality of time with your family and your loved ones. When people walk in here, they feel the burden is lifted off their shoulders, and they can be family members, not caregivers.”
