Welcome, Dr. Leila August, Medical Director!

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Leila August is joining our medical staff here at Alive as the new Medical Director for two of our home care teams. Dr. August is board-certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. With more than 20 years of experience, she specializes in Family Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and Pain Medicine. She graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1999 and completed her residency at East Tennessee State University.
