HealthRHYTHMS® Drumming Workshop
For adults (18+) who have experienced a loss. This workshop on 11/2 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church uses drumming (an evidence-based therapeutic strategy) as a tool for growth to navigate our grief journey. Facilitated by Alive’s grief counselor, Terri Kuberski, a Remo indorsed HealthRHYTHMS® facilitator with over 15 years of experience. Register here.
Support for Grieving Children and Families
Join us on 11/4 at Alive’s Grief Center for a FREE live stream viewing of the National Alliance for Children’s Grief (NACG) Fall Conference: Supporting Children & Families Following a Stigmatized Death. 10 Essentials Grief Hike
Join us 11/5 and 11/18 for this community hike for adults (18+) who have experienced the death of someone significant. During the hike, you’ll be introduced to the “Ten Essentials,” created by Alive’s Grief Counselor, Dianne Castellano, which draws connections between tools hikers typically use to be prepared and tools that assist with a healthy grief process. SoulCollage® (Virtual)
SoulCollage® is an expressive arts process that uses the power of images to encourage self-discovery. Each month on the second Wednesday (11/9) we will add to our incredible deck of cards and deepen our understanding of ourselves through their use. If you are facing grief at the “most wonderful time of the year,” or would like to support someone who is, please join us for this seminar on 11/16 & 12/7 while we find Hope for the Holidays. The holiday focus on togetherness, gratitude, and celebration can present a challenge for those of us who have lost someone important and make the space they left empty all the more real. Five-Week Holiday Series Forming Now!
This Life After Loss: Surviving the Holidays virtual support group launches 12/1 and is for men and women seeking practical coping strategies during the holidays after the death of a loved one. Groups will meet for five consecutive Thursdays from 6:00-7:30m p.m. with topics to be discussed including dealing with hard-hitting emotions, what to do about traditions, how to survive social events, and where to find comfort and strength.

Walking Through Grief
Grief is anything but a walk in the park. Join us every Tuesday at 10 a.m. for a weekly walk at Brentwood Library Walking Path with Alive Grief Counselors and other grieving community members to connect with others and the healing that comes with being in nature.
