My mom always made Cinnamon Bread as a treat for our family! When the church was putting together a cookbook, this was the recipe she contributed. The cookbook was titled ”Guten Appetit” as a tribute to the German heritage of our parish. My mom was 100% German (maiden name Schmitt). This bread makes GREAT French toast.
