Volunteer for Camp Forget-Me-Not!
Men, can you volunteer? Camper applications are now open for Camp Forget-Me-Not, for kids who have experienced a significant loss, and we’re looking for male volunteers to be “Big Buddies”! Camp will be held August 13-14, 2022 at the fabulous YMCA Camp Widjiwagan. Volunteers must be 18+ and undergo a background screening. Selected volunteers can sign-up to serve the whole weekend, or for a specified shift on a specific day. Submit a camper or volunteer application.

Therapy Group for Complex Grief (Virtual)
Join us 5/2 for a new virtual offering for adults experiencing complicated bereavement. This group uses the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Group Traumatic Episode Protocol (G-TEP). Pre-screening is required. Register below.
Remembrance Day Series: Mother’s Day Memorial Chimes
Join us 5/7 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. to create a one-of-a-kind windchime to honor your mother’s legacy with found objects and mementos that remind you of your mother. All ages and abilities are welcome. A suggested donation of $5/ person to cover the cost of materials is appreciated. Register below.
Grief Journey Labyrinth Walk
Join us 5/14, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., at Glendale UMC (900 Glendale Lane in Nashville, TN) for those who have experienced loss as we walk the labyrinth and explore the journey of grief and remembrance. Register below.
Eight-Week Grief Journey Groups Forming Now!
Grief Journey groups launch on 5/19 and meet for eight consecutive Thursdays at 1:00-2:30 p.m. or 6:00-7:30m p.m. In-person and virtual options available. There is an $80 registration fee per participant; scholarships available.

- Loss of a Loved One
- Grief Recovery Group
- Cancer Loss Support Group (Virtual)

Walking Through Grief
Grief is anything but a walk in the park. Join us every Tuesday for a weekly walk at Centennial Park with Alive Grief Counselors and other grieving community members to connect with others and the healing that comes with being in nature. Register below.
Serenity in Grief

Join us Tuesdays, June 7 – July 26 at 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. for grief support groups for youth ages 3-17 at the Alive Nashville Grief Center (1721 Patterson St. in Nashville). Dinner included! Youth and families will express their thoughts and feelings with others who have also experienced the death of an important person. Sessions include grief education, games, and more. Looking for a unique way to honor your loved one? Alive’s Grief Sevices offers Private Creative Arts Memorials for groups of 10 or fewer with access to our Creative Room, menu of memorialization projects, supplies, and support from a grief counselor and activity facilitator.
