Camp Forget-Me-Not!

We are so excited to welcome campers to Camp Forget-Me-Not, on August 21 and 22, for kids and teens who have experienced a significant loss. This overnight camp will be held at the YMCA’s Camp Widjiwagan which includes a zip line, lake swimming, and water slides, for fun and refreshment after all the therapeutic grief work we’ll offer. Transportation will be provided for campers coming from the Murfreesboro area. *Applications are now closed for campers.*

Eight-Week Grief Journey Groups Forming Now!

All Loss of Spouse/Partner and Loss of a Loved One groups launch on 9/30. For just $50 per participant, groups meet for eight consecutive Thursdays and are led by professional grief counselors. Drop-In Grief Support Groups (Virtual)

These groups are FREE to attend and meet monthly. Participants are welcome to join at any time. Join us for a group that fits your need, including:

Family Retreat Registration Open! Alive’s Family Retreat (10/16) is open to families with children under the age of 18. During this special event, families come together to play, remember, share, and connect. The day will include a variety of recreational activities, games, arts and crafts, woodworking, and memory making that will strengthen your family bond in the midst of grief. Sound Bath Meditation (Virtual)

On 8/25 participants will experience the vibration and auditory properties of sound to achieve a relaxed state. Headphones are recommended but not necessary. Register below.

Mindfulness Moments

Alive volunteer, Ben Glover, is offering a FREE 30-minute mindful meditation class to help you re-center and focus every Thursday at 1 p.m. CST on Zoom. Register below.

Supporting Your Grieving Child (Virtual)

How can you help a grieving child or teen when you are also broken hearted? This class on fourth Wednesdays (8/25) provides critical information to maintain communication in the wake of loss. Register below.

Private Creative Arts Memorials

Looking for a unique way to honor your loved one? We’re now holding Private Creative Arts Memorials for groups of 10 or fewer with access to our Creative Room, menu of memorialization projects, supplies, and support from a grief counselor and activity facilitator.
