About the 2019 Alive at the Bluebird Art

2019ABBart.pngThis year’s art work was created by master songwriter Pat Alger. Although he is best known for his songwriting (“Unanswered Prayers,” “The Thunder Rolls,” “Small Town Saturday Night,” “Once in a Very Blue Moon,” and “Goin’ Gone.”), Pat is also a talented visual artist. In this deeply personal collage, he pays tribute to loved ones who have passed by weaving together peaceful images and songs that evoke their presence.

“I began participating in Alive at the Bluebird many years ago, after they took such loving care of a dear friend and singer who passed away in her prime. It became the place where friends and family could remain connected to her.”
