"The past year has been tough on Nashville's Bluebird Cafe — an iconic venue famed for its intimacy, where country songwriters perform within arms' reach of a tightly packed audience. The pandemic, of course, put those experiences to a halt. It's now been 10 months since the Bluebird was open to the public. But there's one tradition the venue refuses to put on hold: lending a hand to Alive Hospice.

The Bluebird's 28th annual "Alive at the Bluebird" benefit concert series has returned this month — in streaming form. The 15-show series kicked off on Jan. 7, and will stream at 7:30 p.m. CT every Thursday in January, and on the first Thursday of every month through 2021."
