Speaking Grief Documentary Screening and Panel Discussion
May 26: 12:00 pm - 1:30 pmFree
Join us virtually as Alive hosts this special and important new documentary. Speaking Grief is a public media initiative aimed at creating a more grief-aware society by validating the experience of grievers and helping to guide those who wish to support them. The documentary features diverse representations of grief through candid interviews with families whose losses range from stillbirth to suicide.
To help you increase conversations around grief at home, each registered participant will receive a grief activity kit mailed to their home, along with Alive’s Legacy Conversation Cards – designed to help you have meaningful end-of-life discussions with the important people in your life.
Our event will conclude with a panel discussion including a Grief Counselor, Chaplain, and bereaved individuals who have experienced significant loss and are now providing hope to others who are grieving.
This special event is free and open to the entire community. Any donations received will directly support the grief support programs at Alive.
