Walmart Neighborhood Market in Murfreesboro Grants $2,000 to Alive for Charity Care

As the only nonprofit hospice in the Middle Tennessee area, Alive is committed to providing the extra services that truly make a difference for our patients and families. Grants and donations ensure that we can care for patients regardless of their ability to pay.

This grant from the Walmart Community Grants Team in Murfreesboro will go toward the $1.5 million we need to raise each year to cover care for patients who do not have insurance or when insurance doesn’t cover the full cost of care.

Walmart is committed to giving back to the communities where it operates. In fact, Mrs. Helen Walton used to say, “It’s not what you gather, but what you scatter that tells what kind of life you have lived.”

We are grateful to Walmart Giving for helping make this care available to all who need it.
