Summer Employee of the Quarter: Amy Webb

Congratulations to Amy Webb, our latest Employee of the Quarter! Amy is the Inpatient Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner and Team Lead on our Palliative team. She is known for being thoughtful, kind, and constantly looking to meet the needs of her fellow team members.

Quality of Work: Amy was fulfilling the role of team lead before being officially assigned the title. She is very thorough and a natural teacher. She is constantly asking questions, staying up to date on changes in the hospital and in our field.

Quality of Person: She is an amazing team member, who is constantly looking to meet the needs of her fellow team members. She is thoughtful, and kind, always remembers everyone’s birthdays, and looks to make them feel important and loved.

Quality of Care: Amy provides very thorough care with the utmost compassion, and remains a strong advocate for her patients. Amy is quick to listen and find out what is important to her patients and families, working alongside the goals of the providers as well. She is able to find the true balance. She is affecting the value and perception of palliative care in the hospital and the community, in a true positive manner. Patients and families are better for having her care.

Quality of Service: She is a true advocate, teacher, friend, and provider. Her service makes our team better, our hospital better, and our company better. She represents Alive’s mission by daily, “providing loving care to people with life-threatening illnesses, support to their families, and service to the community in a spirit of enriching lives.”
