As we look to the future, we are committed to building on Alive’s legacy of innovation, which began with a dream for better end-of-life care 45 years ago. Our mission (to provide loving care to people with life-threatening illnesses, support to their families, and service to the community in a spirit of enriching lives) remains our guiding star. We identified five strategic areas we need to address in the coming years to fulfill it. In 2021, we will launch a fundraising campaign to build out our Grief Center, enhance our Henry Hooker telehospice offerings, make capital improvements in our in-patient residences, develop new community programs, and invest more in our staff.
