Postcards from Camp

Our grief support camps are a safe place for kids ages 6-14 who are grieving the death of someone important in their lives.

These three-day camps help kids take steps toward healing with support from Alive Grief Support counselors. Together in small peer groups, they process what they’re feeling, learn about healthy ways to cope with grief, and remember their loved ones. We also build in time for fun, because it’s important to be a kid even after a loss.

Nashville Public Radio aired a story about Camp Evergreen this summer, and the story made national news in August! It aired on WBUR’s “Here and Now,” giving listeners across the country the chance to hear about this healing camp experience we’ve provided grieving kids for more than 20 years.
