Fran Doehring
Chief Nursing Officer

Fran is responsible for Alive’s nursing staff, as well as chaplains, social workers, and volunteers who care for patients in our twelve-county service area. She brings more than 25 years of experience in nursing administration to Alive. Fran served as Administrative Emergency department director at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) in 1988 and held several leadership roles in adult and pediatric care at VUMC through 2003. Prior to joining Alive, she served as system director of patient safety at Infirmary Health System in Mobile, Alabama. Fran holds a B.S. in nursing from the University of South Alabama and a M.S. in nursing from the University of Alabama, Birmingham.

Glenn Grove
Vice President of Business Development 

Glenn leads the business development team, which is critical to expanding the reach of our mission. He brings 25 years of health care sales experience to Alive. Glenn formerly served as vice president of sales at MindCare Solutions in Franklin, a telemedicine provider connecting mental health and medical care for patients. Prior to MindCare, he was senior client executive of Nashville-based HealthStream, Inc. Glenn holds a B.S. in marketing from Auburn University.

Joel Reynolds
Promoted to Lead Chaplain

As lead chaplain, Joel represents the team of seven chaplains at agency meetings and in policy decisions. Prior to joining Alive three years ago, he worked with Signature Healthcare as a facility chaplain at The Bridge at Monteagle, Tennessee. For the past eight years he has also served as a chaplain in the Tennessee Army National Guard. Joel has more than 20 years of pastoral experience serving churches in Virginia, Alabama, Arkansas, and Tennessee. He holds degrees from Carson-Newman College (B.A. in history) and Luther Rice Theological Seminary (MDiv).

Alysia Jones
Promoted to Vice President of HR

Alysia leads Alive’s Human Resources team and is responsible for employee engagement and recruitment. She brings two decades of experience to this critical leadership position. Her background spans several industries including banking, retail, and public accounting. She joined the team in 2012 and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.

Liz Haas
Communications Manager

Liz manages Alive’s internal and external communications, as well as marketing, social media, and advertising. She collects and shares the stories that show how special our work is and that motivate donors to make charitable contributions. Her 20 years of strategic communications experience includes consulting for nonprofits and businesses and serving as a vice president at Atomic PR in San Francisco. Liz holds a B.A. in sociology from Mills College in Oakland, California.
