Murfreesboro Residence in Demand

Ever since the The Residence at Alive Hospice – Murfreesboro opened its doors last June, the community has been asking for more. Its ten beds have been filled from day two.

The beautiful facility was designed to provide comfort down to the last detail, with a garden courtyard, clerestory lights, art, and community spaces. A beautiful new stained-glass window was installed in January thanks to a generous donor who commissioned the unique piece from local artisan Josh Hendricks.

In addition to providing care in a dedicated hospice facility, the Murfreesboro residence is home to two grief counselors who specialize in bereavement care for adults and children. They are available to help anyone in the community who needs support, not only the families of Alive Hospice patients.

Additional community services include lunchtime educational programs, which are hosted the third Friday of each month.

Alive has been serving Murfreesboro for more than 40 years, and we are thrilled to offer this new level of care to the community. We cannot express our gratitude enough for the generous gifts that helped make our vision for Murfreesboro a reality.
