Peyton’s first experience caring for a hospice patient was earlier in her nursing career when she unexpectedly cared for her grandmother. Severe weather prevented the family’s hospice provider from reaching her grandmother’s home, but Peyton was able to be there to bring comfort and peace of mind to her loved ones.
