Each year the Upchurch family brings evergreens to our residences to spread holiday cheer in honor of Denise Strong who died in our Nashville unit. Her young boys wanted to remember her by sharing her love of the Christmas season with our patients. This year, we shared their story in our annual fundraising appeal. We heard back from many grateful donors who received those trees over the years. One even sent a picture of the tree he planted in his yard after it was delivered to his mother in 2018. What a beautiful legacy!
