“I want the families that come here to know they are in the right place, and their loved one will be taken care of. It’s a peaceful place…a home away from home, where they can just feel comfortable. I call it Heaven. I told my grown kids that if anything ever happens to me, this is where I want to be. It takes a special kind of person to work here. It’s an honor and a privilege to do this work. Don’t make me get sentimental because I could talk about it all day. I tell people to just ask, and you will get the help you need. There’s always someone to guide you. Even if you just need to talk. The Grief Center has helped me a lot when my mom died and my sister too. Just reach out to us.”
