Celebrating Excellence: Kristie Bilbrey Named Employee of the Year

We are thrilled to announce that Kristie Bilbrey, Hospice Aide at our Nashville Residence, has been named Alive’s 2024-2025 Employee of the Year! Kristie’s compassionate care, tireless dedication, and unwavering commitment to our mission have made a lasting impact on patients, families, and coworkers alike.

With 11 years of service at Alive, Kristie has become a cornerstone of our night shift team. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that each patient is treated with the dignity, comfort, and kindness they deserve. Whether it’s offering a soothing spa bath to help a new patient settle in or picking up extra shifts to support her team, Kristie shows up with heart and purpose every day.

Her colleagues shared what makes Kristie truly exceptional:

“Kristie treats each of her patients as if they are her family member. She gives them dignity and makes sure they are kept clean, comfortable, and taken care of. She also takes care of the families as well, making sure they have what they need and are comforted during these hard times.”

As a former Employee of the Quarter, her consistent excellence and embodiment of Alive’s values have earned her the top recognition as Employee of the Year, and we couldn’t be prouder to have her as part of the Alive family.
