This year, Alive is celebrating 50 years of compassionate care in Middle Tennessee. Since our founding in 1975, we’ve been honored to walk alongside countless families, helping them find comfort, dignity, and connection during life’s most tender moments. What began as a small volunteer movement to ensure that no one faced the end of life alone has grown into a trusted nonprofit serving thousands of patients and families every year.
Over the decades, our mission has remained the same: to provide exceptional care for those we serve and to support our community through grief, education, and connection. From our two inpatient residences to our expansive grief center, community programs, and outreach initiatives, Alive continues to be a place of peace, understanding, and compassion for all who need it.
