Alive’s Camp Forget-Me-Not is accepting applications for campers and volunteers! This camp will take place at the YMCA’s Camp Widjiwagan, August 13-14, for kids and teens (8-17) who have experienced a significant loss. Teens will have their own space and schedule to keep their experience exclusive and special for their age group. Register here:

Therapy Group for Complex Grief (Virtual)

Join us 4/4 for a new virtual offering for adults experiencing complicated bereavement. This group uses the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Group Traumatic Episode Protocol (G-TEP). Pre-screening is required. Register below.

Remembrance Day Series: Sibling’s Day Terrarium Workshop

Join us 4/10 for this workshop open to children and adults who have experienced the death of a sibling. Attendees will create a custom memorial terrarium in honor of their sibling. A suggested donation of $5/person to cover the cost of materials is appreciated. Register below.

Paint Your Pet: Memorial Portrait Workshop

Join us 4/11 for this workshop to honor a beloved pet. Taught by local artist, Sarah Shearer, with a Grief Center facilitator. All ages are welcome. No art experience is needed. Register below.

Community Drum Circle

Free and fun for all ages! Join us 4/16 as we express ourselves through music. Located outdoors, participants will be socially distant, yet together, while we build community through rhythm and shared experience. Due to COVID-19 precautions, attendance is limited, so register early! Register below.

Eight-Week Grief Journey Groups Forming Now!

Grief Journey groups launch on 5/19 and meet for eight consecutive Thursdays at 1:00-2:30 p.m. or 6:00-7:30m p.m. In-person and virtual options available. Walking Through Grief

Grief is anything but a walk in the park. Join us every Tuesday for a weekly walk at Centennial Park with Alive Grief Counselors and other grieving community members to connect with others and the healing that comes with being in nature. Register below.

Looking for a unique way to honor your loved one? Alive’s Grief Sevices offers Private Creative Arts Memorials for groups of 10 or fewer with access to our Creative Room, menu of memorialization projects, supplies, and support from a grief counselor and activity facilitator.
