Alive Hospice offers free seminar for those hurting during the holidays

“Alive Hospice will host two free virtual seminars on Wednesday, Dec. 1, that will offer advice for people dealing with grief and seasonal depression. They will take place at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. and are called ‘Hope for the Holidays.’

‘Hope for the Holidays is a seminar, led by our grief counseling team, that addresses the complexity of dealing with loss at this time of year,’ said Ali Drescher, senior director of mission services at Alive. ‘What is aimed to be the most wonderful time of year doesn’t always feel that way for people who are hurting. Even for people who have had a different type of loss this year — loss of a job, their sense of security, their role in their family due to COVID — any of those people can benefit by attending the seminar.'”

Sign up for this event to connect with others through shared loss and learn tips on how to include loved ones in holiday traditions.
