bjones.jpgAlive is honored to be a beneficiary of the second annual Ben Jones Clay Shoot. Hosted by Tennessee Titans Center Ben Jones and his wife, Alex, the outdoor sporting event supports local nonprofits that enrich the lives of youth.

Jones is a dedicated philanthropist who takes his responsibility as a role model very seriously. He lost his father at an early age, and when he learned about Alive’s grief support programs for kids, he knew he had to get involved.

“When I was a kid and lost my dad, I had a lot of support--from my family, my community, and my church--and that helped me get through it. Not everybody has that. And I want to be sure that there is a resource for other grieving kids. Alive Grief Support is the only agency in town whose counselors specialize in grief. That's all they do, and they offer their services at low or no cost.”
