Alive Receives 2025 Hospice CAHPS Honors Award

Alive is proud to announce that we have once again been named a 2025 Hospice CAHPS Honors Award recipient by MatrixCare, recognizing our ongoing commitment to exceptional patient and caregiver experiences.

The Hospice CAHPS Honors program celebrates high-performing hospice agencies that consistently deliver quality care as measured by patient and caregiver feedback through the Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey.

Award criteria are based on surveys conducted from January through December 2024, and only hospices that partner with MatrixCare for CAHPS survey administration are considered. To qualify for the Honors Award, a hospice must:

  • Score above the MatrixCare National Performance Score on the Willingness to Recommend question
  • Have at least one complete survey returned in each quarter of the evaluation period
  • Score above the national average on at least 20 of 24 quality indicators

Alive is honored to receive the CAHPS Honors Award for another year. This recognition reflects the dedication of our staff and volunteers who go above and beyond to ensure that every patient and family receives the compassionate care, dignity, and support they deserve. Alive’s commitment to caring for our neighbors extends far beyond the bedside, touching lives with clinical expertise, emotional support, and community-based programs such as grief counseling, volunteer services, and community education.
