Death, the ‘elephant in the room,’ goes on a rampage in coronavirus crisis

“We are grieving the loss of the routines we live by and the plans we made — for vacations, graduations, religious celebrations, and visits with new grandbabies. All of this is hard. But the real problem is the elephant in the room, death. We don’t like to think about it, much less talk about it, but now it’s crashing into the china, bugling as we try to sleep, and trampling our peace of mind.”
