A Window Visit During COVID

COVID-19 can’t keep us apart. Alive social worker, Claire Harris Kramer, recently found a safe way to connect with her patient in a care residence when the patient was confused by the iPad intended for the visit. Claire traveled to the residence and sat outside a closed window where the patient could safely see her face. They talked on the phone about her diagnosis, and Claire was able to answer all her questions and share a smile. We are grateful for our compassionate staff who continue to make meaningful moments with patients and families.
