September Events – Hiking, Drumming, Creative Arts!

Alive’s Grief Center is hosting virtual and outdoor events in support of the community, including our 10 Essentials Grief Hike at Longhunter State Park, Spetember 12, for adults (18+) who have experienced the death of someone significant.

Our Community Drum Circle on September 24 is free and fun for all ages! Located in our large, shady yard adjacent to Alive’s main campus, participants will be socially distant, yet together, while we build community through rhythm and shared experience. Due to COVID-19 precautions, this event will be limited to fifteen attendees, so register early!

We are also launching new virtual grief support groups. Join us for our Spouse Loss and Loss of a Loved One grief support groups. All groups launch after Labor Day using the Zoom online platform. Daytime and evening groups available. To register, call 615-963-4732 or email griefsupport@alivehospice.org.

We are currently holding Private Creative Arts Memorials with access to our Creative Room, menu of memorialization projects, supplies, and support from a grief counselor and activity facilitator. Book yours by calling 615-963-4732 or email griefsupport@alivehospice.org.
