2020 Employee of the Year

Congratulations Jennifer Kirkup on being named Alive’s Employee of the Year! Jennifer is a dedicated Registered Nurse for Alive’s Maple Team, and has been with Alive for close to 9 years. Jennifer is known for her compassion, care, and leadership everywhere she goes.

“My first clinical patient was a hospice patient, and I knew, then, my calling. It’s a blessing when a career and a passion meet, and I’m blessed to be proof of that.”
During the COVID-19 crisis, the quality of Jennifer’s care has never faltered as she continues to advocate for each patient, family member, and coworker. At the onset of the pandemic, Jennifer sourced personal protective equipment (PPE) and created innovative ways to preserve materials when equipment was scarce. She has gone above and beyond to ensure that every patient receives the highest quality care and that her team is fully supported. Colleagues find her to be a calm pillar of strength, always willing to help those around her. Thank you for all you do, Jennifer!
