What’s the gift that lasts a lifetime?

Hint: Everyone needs it. Not many people have one. You don’t need to know the age or size. Budget is no object. It truly shows you love those around you.

Who would have thought a simple form and conversation might be the most meaningful gift you could give your loved ones and yourself? Filling out a simple advance directive form ensures that your end-of-life care preferences are known and your caretakers won’t be burdened with the worry and guilt of having to guess what they might be.

The Alive SHARE program is an immersive simulation training experience for Physicians, Health Care Professionals, and for Students of Medicine, Health Sciences, and other fields who have an interest in end-of-life care.

Made possible with generous support from The Memorial Foundation, The Alive Institute Simulation Lab can accelerate the learning process for health care professionals and lead to better experiences for patients and families.

Alive Symposium on End-of-Life Care

The Symposium is open to all. Typical attendees include health care professionals, family caregivers, social workers, grief counselors, faith leaders, end-of-life service providers, students, and anyone who will one day die.

This special annual event is an important part of Alive’s mission as a non-profit, which is to provide loving care to people with life-threatening illnesses, support to their families, and service to the community in a spirit of enriching lives.

The 2020 Symposium was not held this year due to the COVID pandemic. We look forward to hosting it again in 2021 when it is safe to do so.
