Ten Essentials Grief Hike

November 13: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Free
Enjoy a socially distanced group nature hike while exploring your grief and finding support and encouragement from others.

This hike is for adults (18+) who have experienced the death of someone significant. During the hike, you will be introduced to the “Ten Essentials,” created by Alive’s Grief Counselor, Dianne Castellano. The “Ten Essentials” draws connections between tools hikers typically use to be prepared, and tools that assist with a healthy grief process.

This hike is designed for all experience levels. There will be plenty of breathers to stop and talk along the way. Please bring water, and wear comfortable clothes and hiking appropriate shoes

Long Hunter State Park, you can use GPS to get to the Day Loop at BAKERS GROVE TRAILHEAD which is NOT the visitor’s center entrance. The address is 1650 Granny Wright Lane Hermitage TN 37076. Please park and meet at the Baker Grove Trail Head.
