November marks 38 years of service for Alive Hospice, and it’s also National Hospice and Palliative Care Month. With this in mind, Nashville Mayor Karl Dean has issued a proclamation celebrating hospice care and those who provide it.
Mayor Dean visited Alive Hospice to present the proclamation during an anniversary celebration on Nov. 20. A few words from the mayor:
“For 38 years, Alive Hospice has played a special role in our community and helps make Nashville the giving and caring city that it is,” Mayor Karl Dean said. “The service Alive Hospice provides is a vital one, and I congratulate and thank them for the special kind of care that they provide.”
