Anna-Gene O’Neal, Alive’s President/CEO, is a 2019 recipient of the Nashville Business Journal’s Health Care Award. “Patients first” is the philosophy that guides everything we do at Alive. Whether it’s providing loving care in the family home or making a patient and their family feel at home in one of our residences, it is the people we serve who inspire our work.

Tennessee Health Care Hall of Fame Inducts Alive Founders
Congratulations to Alive founders, Dr. David Barton and Dr. John Flexner! They have just been inducted into the Tennessee Health Care Hall of Fame which honors medical professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, scientists and others who have made a significant, lasting impact on health care. As the founders of Alive Hospice, these doctors “contributed to changing the process of dying and death in the U.S.” We could not be prouder.
