Alive-SHARE-1.jpgToday we were honored to have Alive SHARE, our simulation training program for end-of-life conversations, featured in the Wall Street Journal! This first-of-its kind program was funded by a grant by the Memorial Foundation and officially launched this month at the Alive Institute.

Alive SHARE provides real-time training to doctors and other health care practitioners who face the very difficult challenge of speaking with patients who have received a terminal diagnoses. Doctors who have already experienced Alive SHARE have told us that it has changed the way they approach patients and their families in these moments.

We are extremely grateful that the Wall Street Journal chose to shine a spotlight on Alive SHARE and the need for greater training so that everyone involved -- the doctor, patient and family -- can move more quickly and peacefully toward the next important stage of life.

We hope you enjoy the article and please feel free to contact us if you are interested in learning more about the Alive Institute Simulation Lab for End-of-Life Conversations.
