Published on April 22, 2014
Kids need lots of support after a loss, but they also need to have fun and just be kids. Support and fun are what Camp Forget-Me-Not and Camp Evergreenare all about!
Registration has begun for Alive Hospice’s summer day camps, which were created to meet the special needs of kids (ages 6-14) who have lost loved ones. Camp Forget-Me-Not and Camp Evergreen will be held in June and are facilitated by Alive Hospice grief counselors and volunteers.
There is a cost of $30 per participant, but need-based scholarships are available so that every child may benefit regardless of ability to pay. Space is limited, and registration is required. For more information or to register, call the phone numbers listed for each camp below.
