Team Profile

Clinical Director

Renee M. Wisby, LMSW. I have been with Alive Hospice since 2001 and it’s an honor to serve as director of the Alive Monarchs team. I am the youngest in a large family and have cared for children my whole life in the role of Aunt Renee, camp counselor and Mom. Children are precious to me and it’s my priority to ensure that our caregivers always have the support and tools they need to provide the very best care for our pediatric patients and families. Outside of work I find joy in my two daughters and wonderful husband. We love to camp, eat ice cream, play Qwerkle and cheer on the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Nurse

Kellye Byrn, RN. I have over 19 years of experience in nursing and have devoted most of my career to pediatrics. My pediatric background is quite diverse. Prior to joining Alive Monarchs, I worked in Murfreesboro at a primary care clinic. I have two very active boys who keep me busy, and I enjoy spending time with them, as well as the rest of my family. I love to take walks with my dog, Elvis, and I have two cats, Priscilla and Vegas. I also enjoy playing softball and I am an avid University of Tennessee football fan.

Social Workers

Joanne M. Reich, LMSW. Since graduating from Mary Baldwin College in Virginia, I have spent my work career involved in various settings working with women and children’s issues. I was commissioned a deaconess in the United Methodist Church in 1993 and have served in a variety of settings including managing a residential AIDS hospice in Houston, and serving as the child protection and community assistance officer for the General Board of Global Ministries. I love traveling and have flown over a million miles. I have lived and worked in the Middle East and Asia. I love learning about different faiths and cultures. I got my love of nature from spending 15 years at a summer camp in New Jersey where I taught archery and dramatics, and enjoyed being the camp bugler.

Tisha  Longo, MSSW. I received a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University in New York City and my master’s in social work from UT. Working with children has always been my passion. I taught preschool for a number of years before returning to school to get my master’s. I am from Nashville originally, but love to travel and have lived in many places. I also serve as an audio describer for TPAC and enjoy describing Broadway plays for the visually impaired.

Intake Specialist

Michael Hook My background is customer & policy management with Allstate Insurance Co. I grew up in northern Ohio working with children at a summer camp for eight years and with H.U.G.S. of Cleveland, Ohio in the off-season at the camp. My favorite time of the year is summer through fall, when I can play wonderful outdoor sports.

Grief Counselor

Nicole Hilliard, MSW, LCSW. I work with adults and children, providing grief support through individual counseling and leading support groups. Prior to moving into the grief counselor role, I held the position of social worker on Alive Hospice’s home care teams for 11 years. One of my favorite outlets is hip-hop dancing, though most kids find it easier to believe that I swim with sharks.

Chaplain

Annie McClure, M.Div.  I graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Calif., and completed a year of Clinical Pastoral Education in Pennsylvania. I am ordained and have experience in pastoral ministry on many levels with families, children and youth. I am very happy serving on the Alive Monarchs team, offering spiritual support to the pediatric patients and families we serve. I love listening to music, reading, keeping up with my family, playing with my grandpuppy, watching most sports and being outside whenever possible.

Team Medical Directors

Tiffany Hines, M.D. I completed medical school at South Alabama College of Medicine, then completed the internal medicine and pediatrics residency program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. I came to Alive Hospice after nine years in private practice (internal medicine and pediatrics). I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 17 years and have three children. I love ice cream, running and scrapbooking. I feel honored to be a pediatrician with Alive, caring for children and their families at a critical time in their lives.
