Alive Hospice is a nonprofit agency that provides end-of-life care to patients facing life-threatening illnesses and a life expectancy of six months or less. In addition, the agency provides palliative care services (pain and symptom management for patients facing chronic, life-threatening illnesses) and offers bereavement support services to the entire community. Alive Hospice serves patients and their families in 12 Middle Tennessee counties: Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Coffee, Davidson, DeKalb, Dickson, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson.
"Middle Tennessee is well served by the passion for end-of-life care that is truly characteristic of Alive Hospice's Board of Directors," said Alive Hospice President and CEO Janet L. Jones.
